JANMASHTMI
Another festival to celebrate in India. As there are so many
religion in india the same way goes for the festivals. It is the land of
festivals and culture. Every month there comes a celebration or festival to
celebrate. Krishana Janmashtmi is one of the most celebrated festival in India.
It is the festival of Lord krishna. So be it the north or the south of India,
Krishna's birthday is praised with much pageantry and fervor. Most of the
people do fast for two day of krishan janmashtmi. People celebrate this
festival with love and admiration. This year, Shri Krishna Janmashtami was
commended on eleventh and twelfth August. A few people also do fasting without
water on this promising day. people celbrate this festival from midnight to
next day. Individuals sing bhajans and offer desserts to Shri Krishna. The
other people who are fasting can only have food after the birth pooja of
Krishna that is on the next day.DECORATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS
There are different ways to celebrate this festival. The youngesters more focus on the making a neighborhood toli mandali's making human pinnacles to focus on the dahi handi. This is a kind of supports. Some of the people arrange swings for the krishna. This day people swing infant Krishna's photos/sculptures. They also do the beautification of the floors in the house with impressions produced using flour or rangoli. People also make jhanki of flowers,toys and cloth of krishna.
This is the Fetival Special. On the event of krishan janmashtmiyoung men used to break the "dahi handi", at that point we used to eat the "gopalkala" to commend the celebration. Different desserts and dairy items are offered to Lord Krishna, one of them is the "Gopalkala". It is made up of is ped puffed rice , yoghurt,milk, chillies ,cumin,salt and sugar as per taste.
