Places to visit in Manali | Top places to visit in Manali | Manali to Rohtang

Manali is a beautiful place covered with mountains and high snow peaks. So this year we visited the Manali and so many places like Rohtang Pass, Manikaran, Kullu and Sisu village of Lahul Spiti.



We also covered the Old Manali. There are so many famous temples in Manali and most approaching and near temples in Manali are Hidimba Temple and Manu Temple. Most people go to visit these temples.

So here is the list of Places which you can cover during your Manali Trip

  • Rohtang Pass: Rohtang pass is a very famous pass in Himachal. It has a very high altitude around 14000 feet from sea level. It has very different terrain as compared to the whole Himachal and mountain valleys. So if anyone planning to see a different terrain then Rohtang pass is a must.

  • Sisu Village: Sisu village is yet another beautiful place which you can visit during the Manali trip. It is a small village of Lahul & spit which is near to the Manali. It also has Homestays and Campsites arrangement so if anyone interested in a camping site can opt for Sisu village. You can see the waterfalls and snow-peaked mountains from Sisu Village. It is a must.

  • Atal Tunnel: This tunnel is the largest tunnel in the Asia continent. It is a very beautiful tunnel that is made to connect to Lahul Spiti. It is around 18 KM long. It connects you to Sisu Village and the Rohtang Pass.

  • Hidimba Temple: It is the temple of Hidimba Devi which is very famous place to visit in Manali. The surrounding of this temple is so beautiful as it is surrounded by the jungle area. You can even see the most heightened tree of Deodar Cedar.

  • Manu Temple: It is an ancient temple which is located in the heart of Old Manali. It is situated in a beautiful place so one can go and visit it. It is also surrounded by beautiful green valleys and mountains with snow.

  • Manikaran: It is a famous place for the Mahadev temple and gurudwara. It is situated like 70 km away from Manali but it is so beautiful place with Parvati river alongside.

  • Kasol: Kasol is a famous place for the campsite and Homestays. One can visit it during Manikaran also. As Manikaran and Manali are only at a distance of 5 km.

  • Tosh: Tosh is also a very famous place in Manali. It has India's oldest democracy. This village has its own rules and regulations.
